WHAT IS ALPHA?
The Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. Its relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun.  And its supported by all the main Christian denominations.  There is a meal together at the beginning of each session which gives you an opportunity to get to know each other.   Listen, learn, discuss and discover.  And ask anything.  Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. This is a rare opportunity to get to explore the bigger questions about life, death and the meaning of it all. Why not take time out and give it a try?  It might be the best decision you ever make.

WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Each night, after a cup of tea/coffee and light refereshments, there is a talk presented by one of the local clergy, ministers or leaders; or by video, looking at topics such as 'Who is Jesus?' and 'Why and how do I pray?'  After each talk we divide into small groups for a time of discussion.  That's all there is to it.

WHO IS ALPHA FOR?
Alpha is for everyone, especially:
- those wanting to investigate Christianity.
- Newcomers to the Church.
- Those who want to brush up on the basics.

WHAT WILL IT COST?
There is no cost for the Alpha course itself.  However there will be an opportunity to make a small voluntary donation towards costs.
